More success for Elizabeth in London

Elizabeth de Bono again returned with a trophy, this time at the London Junior Chess Championships

This was held on 14th and 15th December at the University of Westminster.

Elizabeth played in the U10 Minor, scored 5pts out of 7 and was best girl.

Also at the event, Miheli Gunarathne played in the U10 Major. She faded after a strong showing on the first day, finishing with 3.5pts.

Senith Gunarathne competed in the U14 Major. He also did well, placing 3rd with a score of 4.5pts.
