Dinuga first at Coventry Congress!

Following his success at the Nottingham Rapidplay, the West Nottingham junior went on to the longer time control, held from 17th to 18th February.

Playing in the Intermediate, Dinuga Basnayake was joint 1st with 4pts out of 5.

Other West Nottingham juniors made the trip to Coventry.

In the Open, Senith Gunarathne was impressive finishing on 3pts with some high-rated scalps. Eldars Gulijevs scored 2pts.

Also in the Intermediate was Sebastian Griffin-Young, scoring 3pts.

Finally, in the Minor Miheli Gunarathne finished with 2.5pts.
