Adi Munshi is British U12 Champion!

In a great performance at the British Championships in Bournemouth, Adi Munshi was joint first with 6/7

This was a terrific performance, congratulations to Adi for his hard work and great play.

Adi also took part in the U13s and the Major Open, so played 25 standardplay games over just 2 weeks!

Also performing well, David Levens scored 4.5/7 in the Over 65s, including a win against an FM in the final round. This was good enough for joint-6th and a high performance rating.

Robert Willoughby scored 2/5 in the U160, in which most of his opponents were higher graded.

Finally, Daniel Chen scored 4/6 in the Under 9s for =12th.

Well done to the players. Next year the British Championships will be in Llandudno, and only lasts 1 week, so we expect many more West Nottingham players will be able to take part!

A selection of games are now available on the Notts Chess Association website.
