Artemijs second in Hull Junior Rapidplay

In another success for the Gulijevs brothers, they made a successful trip to the second Yorkshire Junior Grand Prix event, held at Hymer's College, Hull on Saturday 12th February.

Playing in the Minor, Artemijs scored 4 out of 6, equal with 2 other players but awarded second from the sum of opponents scores, showing he played stronger opposition overall. He won a trophy for second place.

His brother Eldars also competed, in the tougher Major, finishing on 3pts (=11th).
