West Nottingham in all sections at 4NCL Harrogate
Players from West Nottingham made the trip up to the famous Old Swan hotel in Harrogate to take part in the 27th FIDE-rated 4NCL Congress, as tournaments start to make a comeback.
The event took place from 21-23 January, and as usual was well organised with excellent playing conditions.
In the Open, Jonah Willow was joint-second with 4pts out of 5, winning £90 in prize money.
In the U2000, Ross Murphy had a successful event, scoring 2.5pts, and would have shared a prize if he had won the last round. Hambel Willow scored 2pts.
In the U1700, Andrew Watson finished with 2.5pts also.
